Configuring HTTP Server Error Tracking

To track HTTP server errors, the Decibel Insight sendHTTPError JavaScript API end-point must be called on server error message pages. 

This can be implemented as a single call such as below, for example in a tag management system, provided the Decibel Insight script is present on the page in question and is fired before the code below to trigger the HTTP Error Tracking.

    decibelInsight('sendHTTPError', 503);

Implementing this will enable you to filter by these errors in segments, while you will also be able to use the HTTP Error Reporting feature.

Also, the sendHTTPError call can be made in addition to firing the main Decibel Insight tag for the property being tracked, such as in the example below.
